Classic Wings of Belgium (CWoB) was founded in 2009 by six Belgian aviation enthusiasts, led by a well-known warbird operator and an air force pilot. Both men are passionate devotees of classic aircraft since childhood, and their shared interest led to a close friendship. They gathered a few mutual friends with similar interests around them, and Classic Wings of Belgium was born.
The aim of this non-profit organization is to foster the safe flying of historic aircraft in Belgium and Europe, and support the perpetuation of these aircraft to the maximum extent possible. This is done by bringing together owners and operators of different types of valuable and classic aircraft, so that experiences can be exchanged and mutual interests can be explored.

Furthermore,
The ultimate goal of Classic Wings of Belgium is to help ensure that future generations in Belgium will continue to enjoy numerous types of historic aircraft, and this in the environment where each true aircraft is at its best – the skies.
